AJ Home Loans Gladstone is based at 7/30 Tank Street, Gladstone Central, QLD 4680. If you would rather sit down with someone than fill in a form, that is what the office is for.
Where to find us
The office is at 7/30 Tank Street, in Gladstone Central. It is the same postcode, 4680, that decides which lender policies apply to a purchase, and being in the middle of it is deliberate: Coral has lived in Gladstone for more than twenty years and works with local employers, local income patterns and local property every day.
Parking is on Tank Street directly out the front, so there is no car park to hunt for and nothing to pay. Tank Street is one of the main streets through Gladstone Central, so most people know it without needing directions. If you want a landmark, the office sits opposite M1 Cycles, the bike shop at 29C Tank Street.
Opening hours
The office is open 7am to 7pm, seven days a week. Those hours exist because shift work does. If you are on a roster at the plant or the port, a lender appointment at 2pm on a Tuesday is not much use, so early mornings, evenings and weekends are normal here rather than a favour.
Three ways to meet
- In person at Tank Street. Suits a first conversation, or when there is paperwork to go through together.
- By phone. Most of what happens after the first meeting can be handled this way.
- By video. Useful if you are working away, or buying in Gladstone from somewhere else.
All three are by appointment, so you are not waiting around and Coral is not double-booked.
What to bring to a first appointment
Nothing, if you are just starting out. A first conversation is about what you are trying to do and whether it is realistic, not about documents.
If you want a useful answer on numbers in that first meeting, recent payslips help most, and a rough idea of your regular expenses and any debts. If your income includes overtime, shift penalties or allowances, bring a payslip that shows a year-to-date figure, because how that income is structured usually decides how much of it a lender will count.
What the first meeting covers
Coral will ask what you are trying to do, then work backwards from there. For a first purchase that usually means what you can borrow and which grants and schemes you qualify for. For an existing loan it means whether moving is worth the cost, which is not always yes.
You will not be asked to sign anything on the day. If a lender looks like a fit, you get the reasoning for it, and the comparison against the alternatives, in writing.
Book a time
Call 0409 311 985 or email loans@ajhomeloansgladstone.com.au to book. If you are not sure whether it is worth a conversation yet, it usually is, and it costs nothing to find out.
If you would rather read first, the Gladstone property market page covers what prices and rents are doing suburb by suburb.
